Procedural Kelp Forest

A procedural underwater environment tool for Blender designed to support the creation of kelp forests, ocean scenes, and animated marine environments with greater control and reduced manual assembly. The tool provides an integrated scene-building workflow for controlling foliage, motion, and underwater presentation.
Leaves can be adjusted by density, size, direction, color, and opacity, allowing the vegetation to be adapted to different scene requirements and compositions. The tool includes 15 leaf presets to support rapid initial layout and further visual variation.
Animation is integrated into the environment setup. Kelp stems are animated using a Wave modifier, while leaves are animated directly through Geometry Nodes. Fish movement is also linked to foliage motion, allowing swimming behavior to respond to the surrounding vegetation. This creates greater visual continuity between environmental elements and produces a more cohesive animated underwater scene.
